The Jackson Dance Team is a competitive, year-round program made up of talented and determined athletes who value discipline, confidence, creativity, and strength through dance. Led by Coach Dominique Merrell, a Seattle Seahawks Dancer, the team proudly earned 4th place in the state for Hip Hop and has nearly doubled in size since last year. Dancers train in Jazz, Hip Hop, Game Day, and Pom, showcasing their versatility and dedication. They have been working hard already this summer, attending training camps in Washington and Oregon earning multiple individual and team awards! In addition to competing across Washington, the team performs at JHS sporting events, assemblies, and community activities. These experiences not only build skilled performers but also shape leaders and role models within the Jackson and Mill Creek community.
